Columbus Regional Health named 'America's Best Midsize Employers'

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) Columbus Regional Health was recently named Americas Best Midsize Employers ranked number 14 out of 250 national employers, according to Forbes.

Columbus Regional Health was one of 19 hospitals and health systems on the list of midsize employers.

For the lists, Forbes partnered with statistics firm Statista to select data from a survey of more than 30,000 U.S. employees.

What Are We Seeking?

Radiology Partners Georgia is a private practice looking for a full time Interventional Radiologist to join our team. This is an onsite position working with a hospital based group which includes two other Interventional Radiologists. The group has an excellent relationship with the hospital and the position provides a wide variety of procedures. This is a partnership track position with competitive salary, 11 weeks of PTO and IR only call.

Position Highlights:

Level II trauma center

Interventional Oncology (Y-90, TACE, MWA)

Uterine artery embolization

TIPS, BRTO, biliary work

Intrarterial thrombectomy for Stroke

PE thrombectomy, IVC filters

GI/GU interventions

Hemodialysis interventions including central venous access and decoctsOpportunity to grow service lines such as prostate artery embolizations, peripheral vascular disease, and pain procedures

Desired Professional Skills and Experience:

IR fellowship trained or adequate IR experience

Be comfortable with all aspects of interventional radiology and have the ability to read diagnostic exams

American Board of Radiology certified or Board-Eligible (recent graduates falling under the new ABR guidelines)

Possess or have the ability to obtain a Georgia License

Will consider candidates with a H1-B visa currently working in the US

Will consider current fellows

Where Would I Practice?

Columbus Regional Health is comprised of two hospitals. The Midtown Medical Center is the largest of Columbus Regionals hospitals and functions as a Level 2 Trauma Center with the regions only childrens hospital, Neuroscience Center of Excellence, a newly two renovated Emergency and Trauma Center as well as the 4-arm model of the da Vinci Robot.

As a Level 2 Trauma Center, critically injured patients are brought to Midtown Medical Center for life-saving emergency care and response from the 13-county West Georgia area as well as Lee and Russell counties in East Alabama. In addition to critically injured patients, The Midtown Medical Center provides critical care to adults recovering from other medical and surgical conditions.
