Evaluates, plans, and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment to patients. Supervises rehabilitation department clinical support staff.


Minimum Education:

Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy or the successful completion of the Physical Therapy Certification curriculum from an accredited college or university.

Minimum Experience:



Valid Physical Therapist Licensure in the State of Georgia.

Currently certified, or eligible for certification, through the American Heart Association to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must be able to operate transportation devices, tilt tables and physical therapy modalities and equipment

Safely care for assigned patients

Able to supervise others

Excellent verbal communication in person and on telephone

Excellent written communication

Read, write, understand and communicate clearly in English

Willingness to educate staff and physicians and/or office staff

Use a computer for clinical data entry/retrieval

Organize and prioritize work, act independently

Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Work collaboratively with others in a complex healthcare setting

Partner with physicians
